Meet our team

Father Daniel Heenan is a graduate from Christendom College with a major in philosophy and history. He attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary in Nebraska. After his ordination, he became the associate pastor of the Cuasi Parish of St. Peter in Chains in Guadalajara, Jalisco, until he was named pastor in 2017. He is currently the superior of the FSSP in Mexico. Father Heenan is the founder and director of the San Junípero Serra Spanish Institute and the founder of the Saint Francis Xavier Mission Trips.

Berenice Magallanes, a native of Guadalajara, Jalisco, studied French Didactics as a Foreign Language at the University of Guadalajara. She lived in France for a year to perfect her second language and in 2007 started teaching French and Spanish as foreign languages to audiences of different ages, basic and advanced levels, and particular objectives. She participated in the organization of a manual for teaching Spanish to Catholics and in the organization of specialized courses in both French and Spanish. Since 2016, she has supported the summer course of the Fray Junípero Serra Institute for seminarians and priests.
